Axia CitizenConnect signs 3 year enterprise licence worth £350,000 with Italian Partners Conform
Axia CitizenConnect has signed an agreement with their partner in Italy, Conform that will extend the use of their internet based guidance tool, GOAL, across Italy. A further ten provinces have signed up to use the application following its successful pilot in Genoa.
GOAL will now be used in Employment Centres across Italy and will provide mediated access to quality information, careers guidance and support. Through using GOAL individuals achieve a clearer understanding of the changing world of employment and the opportunities this offers.
The extension of GOAL will fully utilise Axia CitizenConnects new Now.net platform that provides maximum authorability. As a result it will be possible to customise the information on the system to reflect regional variations.
On signing this agreement Andrea Pugliese, Marketing Director of Conform, expressed his delight that the original pilot activity in Genoa had now been extended across Italy. He commented, "This is a time of significant change in the way that services are offered to unemployed people in Italy. We are pleased that we have managed to convince the Ministry of Labour about the value of GOAL and that it will now be available in many other provinces in Italy. We highly value our relationship with Axia CitizenConnect and look forward to working with them on other projects in the future adding some Latin taste to the English quality".
Steve Walker the Managing Director of Axia CitizenConnect also highlighted the significance of this contract, "at a time when serious consideration is being given to the way that Information, Careers and Guidance is provided to adults in this country, it is highly significant that the Italian Ministry of Labour has decided to use a system that has its origins in the UK.
